About Us

The aim at Diamond Dressage is to take away the worry of horse ownership when clients are busy with their everyday lives. Clients have complete peace of mind in the way in which their horses are managed and cared for.

Tracey's motivation to start her own business was born from the fact that she simply got frustrated with sitting at her desk worrying about what was happening to her horses while on livery!

At Diamond Dressage, clients are able to enjoy worry free holidays and do not feel the need to get a friend to check on their horse's well being everytime they are unable to attend the yard!

Horses thrive on routine, it gives them stability. Horses are confident and outgoing, their normal daily routine is as follows:

0730 Feed

0800 Turnout

0900 Ridden work begins (if applicable)

1400 Bring in

1530 Feed

1700 Rug / skip / hay

The yard is open from 0730 - 2100. Access is not restricted for the vet or if competing.

The internet is used daily for weather / temperature forecasts before putting turnout / night rugs on. Horses are turned out every day in small groups, mares and geldings separate. A number of smaller paddocks are available for horses requiring individual / rehab turnout.

The following are arranged on a regular basis and provide a valuable support service for the horses in our care:

Dean Andrews - Equine dentist

Laura Bourne - Saddler

Laura Payne - Equine Sports Therapist

Daniel Williamson - Farrier

Sarah Randall (Chiltern Equine) / Lisa Grahame / Susanna Ballinger (Rossdales) / Jason Tupper (RVC) - Vets

Clients are, however, at liberty to have their own dentists, farriers, vets etc attend their horses should they so wish.

Tracey is available to train both horses and riders. Although she now specialises in dressage, coming from an eventing background her experience and knowledge make her ideally suited to train across all disciplines. Tracey has a large portfolio of clients including dressage horses and ponies, eventers, showing and show jumpers.

Tracey is very generous with her time and often travels with clients to shows to help them warm up, lend a helping hand and generally give them support. She is also available to teach non-liveries at their own yards.

Staff are always on hand to help and advise - clients receive as much back-up as they may require.

For clients who enjoy socialising, bbq's are held regularly during the Summer for clients, friends and families, trips to various equestrian events (Badminton, Burghley, BD National Champs, HOYS, LIHS) are also enjoyed by our clients.
